GROCOTT FAMILY
of
Western Australia

In Loving Memory of "Mum"
Patsy Page growing up , Patricia Barbara Hill at birth.
Pat Grocott as "MUM" and "GRAN" , then Pat Dibble in the later years.
Patricia Barbara Hill was born on 2 June 1932, the daughter of Georgina. Fostered at a very early age and grew up as Patsy Page in Wem, Shrewsbury, England.
Pat married Clifford Mervyn Grocott on 23 June 1951.  Richard was soon born. Peter, Christopher and Anne followed.
In 1958 the family boarded the SS Strathaird at Tilbury to Emigrate to Western Australia, docking in Fremantle.
Moved around the Great Southern, living in Ongerup and Gnowangerup  for 4 years chasing somewhere to live and work.
Sharon then Robert were born and the Family  settled in Albany  Western Australia.
A very active time followed with schooling for 6 children and association with numerous social organisations as the children grew up and became more independent.
Passed away on 25 May 2019 in Albany, Western Australia, at the age of 86.
This site has been created to reflect Mum’s desire that the photos and memories of her family and her adventures be made available to all of her children and their extended families. She loved to share and would be overjoyed if her family had the chance, even after her passing, to relive those memories and potentially share new ones.
The "FAMILY" has of course grown somewhat since the 1900's and now includes quite a few more "Surnames or Family names"
Access is by invitation, controlled by  Password and is intended to include all descendants,  partners, offspring etc etc basically anyone with a Family association. i,e The Extended Family.
